Double the Donation simplifies gift-matching for both you and your donors, maximizing fundraising potential. To learn how to set up this configuration, follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Navigate to your Fundraising Pages.
From your Dashboard, click 'My Tools' in the upper right corner of the page and select 'Fundraising Pages' from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Navigate to 'Site Settings'.
Once you have selected 'Fundraising Pages', you will be directed to your campaign editor. Click the 'Settings' tab at the top of the page and select 'Site Settings' from the drop-down menu.
You will be directed to your 'Giving Site Overview' page. If you scroll further down the page, you will find the details about the 'Double the Donation' configuration under the 'Advanced Donation Configuration' section.
By default, the 'Double the Donation' configuration will appear as 'Inactive'.
Step 3: Activate the Double the Donation configuration.
To activate this configuration, click the blue 'Edit' button in the upper right corner of the page.
Clicking 'Edit' will bring you to the top of the 'Edit Your Giving Site' page and you will need to scroll back down to the 'Advanced Donation Configuration' section.
Step 4: Enter your Public and Private Donation Keys.
You should see two text fields have opened up for you to enter your Double the Donation public and private keys. You can locate this information in your Double the Donation account.
Note: If you do not have keys, fill out the linked form on the page to submit a request!
Once you have entered this information, click the blue 'Save & Exit' button in the top right corner of the page.
Step 5: Confirm Double the Donation is Active!
After clicking 'Save & Exit', you will be taken back to the top of the 'Giving Site Overview' page. If you scroll down to the 'Advanced Donor Configuration' section, the 'Double the Donation' should now appear as 'Active'.
