It can be tricky to accurately estimate a wait. Here are a few different methods we offer to help you quote more accurately. You can set a method when editing or creating Queues.

Description

Last Quoted

Uses the last wait time your staff quoted.

Last Actual

Uses the time elapsed between when the last guest was added and when they were notified.

Average Quoted

Uses the average wait time quoted by your staff. By default, this is the average of the last 30 guests that joined the waitlist in the past 4 hours.

Average Actual

Uses the average time elapsed between when a guest was added and when they were notified. By default, this is the average of the last 30 guests that joined the waitlist in the past 4 hours.

Custom

Uses a static estimated wait time that you define.
