Forgetting your password can be frustrating, but creating a new password doesn't have to be! If you should run into a situation where you have forgotten your password follow the steps in this guide to create new one to regain access to your Notch account.
For your security the Notch team is unable to access your accounts password credentials. If you have lost/forgotten your password a new password must be created to regain access to your account.
Request a password reset
To get started go to the Notch sign in page located here - https://live.joinnotch.com/login
Once you arrive to the sign in page you can select the "Forgot Password" link as shown below.
Once "Forgot Password?" is selected, you will be brought to a new page asking for your email. Simply enter the current email you have registered with your Notch account. Once you have entered a valid email the green "Reset Password" button will light up as shown below -

Click/tap the "Reset Password" button and you will receive a password reset email from hello@joinnotch.com to the email you just entered if it is a registered to an existing user account.
When you open the email it should look like the one below -
Follow the instructions on the email and a new tab will open on your browser requesting you set a new password for your account.
Create a new password
Enter a new password in the "Password" field and confirm the password by enter the password again within the "Confirm Password" field.
Passwords must meet the following requirements ;
At least 7 Characters long
At least one upper case letter
At least one lower case letter
At least one special character (I.E #,$,!,@,%, etc.)
Once you have filled out both fields, the "Reset Password" button will light up like shown below. Press that button and your new password will be set!
Keep your password safe
Moving forward use this new password to sign into your account. To help keep your password safe and to prevent the loss of your password in the future you can use a password management tool. Many browsers such as Google Chrome come with this feature built in. However, if your browser doesn't have a built in password management tool you can also check out some of these free 3rd party options below -
