Sending USD via ACH

Send USD from your nsave account to US bank accounts and platforms via ACH. Choose Same Day ACH ($1, lands today) or Next Day ACH ($0.50, lands next business day).

ACH lets you send USD from your nsave USD account directly to US bank accounts and US-based platforms (such as payment processors and marketplaces). When you send, you choose between two speeds: Same Day or Next Day.

When to use ACH

ACH is the right choice when you're sending USD to:

  • A US bank account (yours or someone else's)

  • A US-based platform that accepts ACH deposits

If you're sending USD elsewhere, see Choosing between IBAN, ACH, and RTP for USD transfers to pick the right rail.

Pricing and timing

When you confirm an ACH transfer, you'll see two options to choose from:

When the recipient gets it

Fee

Same Day ACH

Same business day

$1

Next Day ACH

Next business day

$0.50

Pick Same Day when funds need to land today, or Next Day when you want the cheapest option.

If you need the funds to arrive even faster — typically within an hour — see Choosing between IBAN, ACH, and RTP for USD transfers for details on RTP.

How to send an ACH payment

  1. Open your USD account in the nsave app.

  2. Tap Send.

  3. Enter the recipient's full name (as it appears on their bank account), US routing number (9 digits), account number, and account type (checking or savings).

  4. Enter the amount.

  5. Choose your speed: Same Day (ACH) for $1 or Next Day (ACH) for $0.50. The app will show the estimated delivery for each.

  6. Review the fee and recipient amount, then swipe to confirm.

What you'll need from the recipient

  • Their full legal name

  • Routing number (ABA)

  • Account number

  • Account type (checking or savings)

Double-check the recipient details before confirming. ACH transfers sent to the wrong account can be difficult to recover.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Same Day and Next Day ACH?

Both use the ACH network, but Same Day ACH is processed in faster batches so funds settle the same business day. Next Day ACH costs less but takes one business day to settle.

Can I send to any US bank?

ACH reaches all US banks and credit unions that participate in the ACH network, which is virtually every US financial institution.
