How to Check In and Check Out

Check-in and check-out confirm you were on site and stayed for a reasonable time. They protect your compensation if anything goes wrong on the Merchant side — refusal, closed door, staff issue — and help us argue in your favor in case of a dispute.

Check-in opens 30 minutes before the session starts. You'll receive a reminder by text and email.


On-site projects: check-in

The Merchant receives a 6-digit code before your arrival. Ask them for it when you arrive.

You have the code

  1. Open the Project page → tap "Start the Session"

  2. Enter the code → you're checked in

You don't have the code

  1. Open the Project page → tap "Start the Session""I don't have the code"

  2. Upload a photo of the storefront to confirm your presence

  3. You're checked in

There's an issue on the site

  1. Open the Project page → tap "Start the Session""I don't have the code"

  2. Upload a photo of the storefront

  3. Report the issue with the location

You can't make it to the session

  1. Open the Project page → tap "Report a Problem" → select your reason

  2. Agreed to reschedule with the Merchant → tap "Reschedule" → pick the new date

  3. No rescheduling possible → tap "Cancel Session" → you're unassigned


After check-in — completing or reporting

Session completed without issue

  1. Tap "Mark Session as completed" → confirm

  2. Upload your photos and leave a review if needed

⚠️ Photos must be delivered by the end of the day.

Issue on the Merchant side (closed, refusal, staff problem)

  1. Tap "Report a Problem"

  2. Reschedule or cancel depending on the situation

  3. You receive the corresponding compensation

Issue on your side (equipment, personal emergency)

  1. Tap "Report a Problem"

  2. Reschedule if agreed with the Merchant → tap "Reschedule" → pick a new date

  3. No rescheduling → tap "Cancel Session"

⚠️ Don't abuse this. Late rescheduling or cancellations affect your rating.


If you miss the check-in or check-out

Missing either one puts your compensation at risk and triggers an automatic session cancellation at the end of the day — you will be unassigned, and another Creator can pick up the Project.

At-home projects: check-in

At-home projects have no on-site Merchant - check-in works differently.

Steps:

  1. Open the Project page at your scheduled time.

  2. Tap Check in.

  3. When prompted for an on-site code, select "I don't have the code".

  4. Upload a photo of the delivered bags or the delivery receipt to confirm delivery.

When check-in opens: 30 minutes before your scheduled session time.

⚠️ If you haven't checked in by midnight on your session day, your session will be cancelled and you'll be unassigned. This impacts your reliability score.
