One of the new functions in Firmware 4 is the capability to invert your slider movement so that you can better match your needs.
In the Handy 2, this setting will also flip the buttons and LED matrix so it makes sense for your orientation.
This feature is only available in Firmware 4 devices.
To start, download the Handy Onboarding App and connect your device.
Once connected, in the home screen click the three horizontal lines on the top left and select settings.
This will open a new menu, select Advanced.
Once there, there are two ways to reverse the slider, let's take a look at each one below.
Method 1: Base Settings
Select Base Settings option in the Advanced menu.
In this new page, the very first section has the options we are looking for.
The Inverse toggle enables the inverse movement to the device, usually the toggle Configure each individually will be off, so this will invert all settings so your device is entirely inverted in use, but you can turn that toggle on to configure each part individually.
Invert Buttons will affect the buttons on the device
Invert LED Matrix will affect the display when using the device (Showcasing speed, stroke length, etc)
Invert Hall sensor affects internal sensors
Invert Motor affects the motor and the movement itself.
Method 2: Slider Settings
Open the Advanced menu and select Slider settings.
About the middle of the page you will find a toggle called Reversed motion, this is the toggle that enables the reverse movement, but keep in mind that this toggle won't affect the LED Matrix and other settings! This toggle is exclusively to the slider.
Select that toggle and your device will reset (For Handy 1) or automatically adjust (For Handy 2) to the new "Bottom" of the device.
