Editing Seating Chart Sections

Updated over a week ago

Here are some reasons you may want to edit your OTS seating chart sections:

  • Accommodate venue changes or special setups – If your layout changes for a specific production or event, editing sections helps reflect those adjustments accurately.

  • Improve clarity for ticket buyers – Renaming or color-coding sections makes it easier for patrons to understand the seating map and choose their seats confidently.

  • Remove unused or outdated areas – Deleting unneeded sections streamlines the chart and reduces confusion for both your team and your audience.

  • Add new seating zones or rows – Expanding capacity or introducing new seating options (like VIP or accessible sections) requires flexible, section-level editing.
