🎭Noteworthy: Only 1 offer can be active at a time.
Built directly into checkout, this feature prompts patrons to upgrade tickets or add items like merch, concessions, or parking at the moment of purchase. By showing targeted offers based on what’s in (or missing from) their cart, organizations can increase revenue while giving patrons personalized, relevant options.
Working alongside Add-ons, Offers let you set simple conditions—like prompting a patron to add VIP parking if it’s not already in their cart—making it easy to boost sales and enhance the overall patron experience.
👟Walkthrough
1. Access the Offers page under the Marketing section of your dashboard.
2. If Offers have already been configured, they will appear on this main table.
3. Click on the + button in the top right corner to create an Offer.
4. A modal to create your offer will pop up on the screen.
5. Name your offer in the Offer name field.
6. Click on the Production field and choose an event from the dropdown to select which production this offer is associated with.
7. There are two Offer types - Ticket Type and Add-on. Ticket type will show a patron an offer to upgrade a ticket.
8. Select Add-on to show patrons a previously configured add-on they can purchase.
9. If you select Ticket Type, you will need to set the logic for when an offer will show. Use the first Ticket Type dropdown to select the initial ticket a patron will have in their cart that will trigger the offer.
10. After selecting a Ticket Type from the dropdown, choose a second Ticket Type. This second ticket type will be the one shown on the offer modal for a patron to purchase.
11. Here, I have selected the logic that if an Adult ticket is in the patron's cart, an offer will be shown asking if they want to upgrade to Adult VIP. By clicking yes, all Adult tickets in that patron's cart will be replaced with Adult VIP tickets.
12. If you select Add-on, you will choose which Add-on will be shown as an offer in the patron's checkout.
13. The dropdown list will load all add-ons that have previously been configured for your selected production. For example - if you choose White Wine as an add-on offer, if White Wine is not already in the patron's cart, it will ask if they wish to add it.
14. For ticket type offers only, you can upload a 1:1 ratio size image to advertise the offer within the checkout experience. If you choose add-on ticket type, the offers modal will inherit the image you uploaded on the add-ons screen.
15. Click Save at the bottom righthand side of the modal to save your changes. Click the X or click out of the modal to discard all changes.
16. Click on Save.
17. On the main table, you can view the priority, name, type, offer item, status, and actions.
18. Toggle the Status bar on and off to control whether or not your offer will show to patrons.
19. Click on edit to open the edit modal and make changes.
20. On the Edit modal, you can rename the offer, associate it to another production, change the offer type and logic.
21. Click on the trash icon to delete an offer.
22. Click Delete to permanently delete your offer, or click Cancel to make no changes.
23. On the lefthand side of the table, you will see 6 dots. By clicking and dragging these dots, you can reorder your offer's priority.
24. When an offer is created, it is immediately put at the bottom of the priority list. To reorder this offer, click and drag it to its new spot on the list using the 6 dots. Here, you will see White Wine offer moved from 5 on the list to 1.
Now, if a patron’s cart matches all conditions of the White Wine offer, it will be shown instead of any other offer that would be applicable.
