In this document, we will show you how add-ons and merchandise that you create are presented to patrons within the checkout flow. This is currently available within the embeddable widget.
👟Walk Through
All add-ons and merchandise that have been configured on the Add-Ons and Merch tab will now appear within the widget if they are actively on sale. The order that they appear in the add-ons table in the dashboard will take effect on the add-ons page in the widget. Patrons can then check out with these Add-ons.
- Navigate to the add-ons landing page on the dashboard, where you can see and manage all the add-ons. On this table, you will see the On Sale Status, Name, Category, Online Cost, In-Venue Cost, Variants, and Actions.
- Using the priority column on the left, you can drag and drop add-ons in this list in your desired order to determine the order they appear on the add-ons screen.
- To rearrange the order, click on the 6 dots icon on the lefthand side of the row. Once the row is highlighted, drag and drop to the position you wish to move it to.
- In the patron checkout, the add-ons will now appear in this order if they are turned on. Also, if the customer has enabled “Org level” add-ons, they will also appear based on the priority (for every production).- The Patron View:- Within the widget, after the ticket selection screen, the add-ons screen will appear.
All add-ons that are status active for a given production (plus the org level add-ons) will appear for sale on this list.
- This list is ordered by the selected order on the add-ons and merch page.
- To add an item to your cart - click on the Add To Cart button. If you wish to remove that item from the cart, click on the trash icon to the right of the item.- In the dialogue box that appears, click 'Yes, Remove' to remove the item from your cart. Click 'No, Don't Remove' to not make any changes.- If any variants have been configured - they will appear in a dropdown below the item. To select a variant (i.e. size) - click ‘Select Option’ and choose a variant from the dropdown menu- If there are any limits to the add-on (i.e. total number available) and you exceed this limit within your cart - the Add To Cart button for the given add-on will be disabled, and you cannot add any more items.- Click 'Continue' under Your Cart to proceed to payment- Within your cart, you will see your selected tickets and add-ons/merchandise. If you have shipped merchandise in your cart (Printful items) - your cart will show estimated shipping and sales tax costs.- Note: Shipping & sales tax totals will not be finalized until you enter your shipping address on the next screen.
- This is an example of a cart without shipped merchandise - notice there are no shipping or sales tax estimates.- From here, the Checkout flow is the same as it is in a cart with only tickets - click 'Checkout' to proceed, enter credit card information and shipping information, and check out your order.- In the order confirmation email, you will see the QR code for your in-venue items alongside your tickets. Your add-ons will also be listed at the bottom of the email underneath ‘Order Items’.
