How to Get Roof Funding

Roof funding

Updated over 5 months ago

Important: The roof must be fully completed before funding can be issued.

When requesting roof funding, a few key steps and documents are required before funds can be released. This ensures compliance with loan terms and provides proper documentation for both the customer and installer.

Requirements for Roof Funding

To receive funding for a roof project, please make sure the following items are completed and uploaded to the portal:

  1. Customer Approval

    • The customer must approve the roof funding release for the roof amount. Without customer consent, we cannot proceed with disbursement.

  2. Roof Permit

    • A copy of the roof permit must be uploaded. This verifies that the project is authorized and properly permitted.

  3. Passed Roof Inspection

    • The inspection report showing that the roof has successfully passed inspection is required. This ensures the work meets local building codes and safety standards.

  4. Roof Lien Waiver

    • A signed lien waiver for the roof must be uploaded. This document confirms that the contractor has been paid (or will be paid from loan proceeds) and waives any future lien rights against the property.

If a Roof Permit is Not Required

In some cases, a roof permit may not be required depending on the jurisdiction. If this applies to your project, please review the following guide for funding alternatives and next steps:

Next Steps

Once all required documents are uploaded, our team will review them. If everything is in order, the roof funding will be released.
