Adding your team and your photo gallery

Put faces and real work on your site: team members with photos and roles, and a gallery of your own images.

Which editor is this for? This guide covers the new Site Editor. You are in the right place if your site assistant is called Ellie. If it does not, you are on the Site Tuner — see the Site Tuner guides instead.

Two of the quickest wins on a small business website are a face and a photograph of real work. Both are managed under Settings, in the Knowledge group.

Your team

Open Settings › Team. Even a one-person business benefits from this — putting a face to the business makes it feel real.

Adding a member

  1. Upload a Photo — a headshot for this member.

  2. Enter their Name.

  3. Enter their Role, for example Manager.

  4. Optionally add a Short Description covering their experience or speciality.

  5. Click Add Member.

Everyone you have added appears under Added members with a count. Use the pencil on a row to edit someone and the bin to remove them.

Your gallery

Open Settings › Gallery to upload and select the images that appear in your gallery.

  • Click the Upload tile, or drag files onto it.

  • JPEG, JPG, PNG and WebP files up to 20 MB are accepted.

  • Uploaded images appear in a grid; select the ones you want shown on the site.

Photographs of jobs you have actually done will almost always outperform stock imagery, even when the stock photograph is more polished.

If you asked for a gallery page before uploading photos

The assistant can plan a gallery page before you have any images, but it cannot fill it. When that happens it says so and leaves a note to add the gallery section once images exist. Upload your photos here, then ask the assistant to add the gallery section to the page.

Remember to publish

New team members and photos are saved to your site's content straight away, but they reach your visitors when you publish — see Publishing your site and managing your domain.
