Which editor is this for? This guide covers the new Site Editor. You are in the right place if your toolbar has a Media button and your assistant is called Ellie. If it does not, you are on the Site Tuner — see the Site Tuner guides instead.
Connecting your Google Business Profile saves you typing your details twice and lets your site show the reviews you have already earned.
What connecting gives you
Your details, filled in for you. Business name, address, contact details and opening hours can be pulled across instead of entered by hand.
Your reviews and rating on your site. The star rating and reviews from your Google profile can be displayed on your pages.
How to connect
Open Settings from the round button in the bottom-left corner of the editor.
Choose Integrations.
Beside Connect Google Business Profile, click Sign in with Google.
Sign in with the Google account that manages your business profile and allow access.
You will also find Sign in with Google on the Details and Hours tabs under Settings › Business, under Pull in your details from Google. It is the same connection, offered where it saves you the most work.
Use the right Google account
Sign in with the account that actually owns or manages the business listing. A personal Gmail address that can see the listing but does not manage it will not bring your details across.
After connecting
Check the details that came through under Settings › Business — particularly your hours, which often drift on Google without anyone noticing. Correct anything that is out of date, then publish your site so visitors see it.
