If you’ve ever entered a contest before, you may have been asked to reply with a particular word:
The LocalMessages Keyword feature allows for the ability to enable keywords to be set so that they trigger a specific flow.
These flows can include replies for a bulk message with a specific keyword, as well as adding a Conversation Tag to a text conversation.
The feature also includes the ability to view statistics for the number of responses, keyword responses and unsubscribe responses, as well as the ability to export specific contacts who have replied to a particular keyword
If you are launching a campaign that encourages a particular response from your customers, triggering a keyword is a great way to gauge their attention and give them an easy and quick way to respond. This feature is also a great way to keep track of responses from your customers that contain specific details or are attached to a particular campaign, contest, template, etc
To set up a keyword for the bulk messaging feature, follow these steps:
Login to your OneLocal dashboard here
Go to LocalMessages on the left-hand panel in the dashboard and then select New Message in the top right-hand corner
Enter the contacts you wish to bulk send a message to:
4. Click on + Setup Keyword Options. You'll notice that the window will expand and another field for you to type in your Keyword Reply will appear:
Note: If you want to enable a keyword, ensure that “Keyword Enabled” is checked off.
5. Type in your Keyword:
6. Add a conversation tag if you need to:
7. Also add a Keyword Reply if needed. This way, you can send a customized response to contacts who reply with the specific Keyword:
If you would like to view the responses to a bulk message, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > LocalMessages > Bulk Messages
Click on the date that the bulk message was sent
You can view the following: Status, Status Detail, Responses, Keyword Responses, Unsubscribe Responses, Date, Sent By, Message, Keyword and Keyword Autoreply on the left sidebar
You can export any filtered contacts using the Export button
You can also view any contacts that were sent the bulk messages on the table
