Getting Started: Connect your Google Calendar

Let's start by connecting your google account to your OneLocal Dashboard! (Prefer to follow along? There is a video walkthrough here)

  1. Click here to login, navigate to the "Settings" on the left of your screen, select "Integrations"

  2. Scroll down the page to find "Google Calendar" and click "Connect"

  3. Follow the on screen instructions to securely connect your business or personal google calendar, click "Allow"

  4. Once connected, you'll see an option to "Configure Calendar in LocalVisits Bookings" - click the link to complete your configuration

  5. This will take you to the "Google Calendar Sync Settings", here you have the option for each member of staff assigned in your booker to connect their calendars from your primary business calendar!

We'll dive into these settings below.

Choosing Calendars and Assigning to your Colleagues

You are able to connect any of the calendars that you have within the account that you connected. This is a great feature if you have multiple staff members!

You'll be able to see all the staff members and assign a different calendar to each staff member as needed:

There are a couple of optional features once you've allocated calendars to your staff members:

  • Block off time in Web Booker -

    • Check this off to enable the ability to automatically block off time in your Booker from events that are in your Google calendar

    • This blocked time will update the Web Booker so customers cannot double book this time

  • Enable pending bookings to be sent to your Google Calendar -

    • This enables bookings in the 'pending' state to be pushed to your Google calendar from the Booker before they are confirmed
