The Edit DIRS School Info page allows schools to maintain building-level policy information required for Minnesota DIRS reporting and track annual habitual truant totals by building. By keeping DIRS school information accurate and up to date, schools can improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual corrections during submission, and make sure required policy details are properly documented for each reporting building.
To get started, go to Discipline > Data > Edit DIRS School Info in jmc Office.
Step One: Click the "Edit" button in the row for the building you want to update.
Helpful Tip: Each row represents a building included in DIRS reporting, making it easy to manage reporting details separately for elementary, middle, and high schools.
Step Two: Place a checkmark in the appropriate policy checkboxes, such as anti-violence, anti-bullying, or zero tolerance, to indicate which policies are in place for the building.
Step Three: Enter the total number of habitually truant students in the "Number of Habitual Truants" field for the selected building. This is typically completed at the end of the year for DIRS reporting.
Step Four: Click the “Update” link to save changes to the building’s DIRS school information.
