After obtaining your student photo file, the designated photo vendor for your school will generate a CSV file comprising student photos that correspond to your student data. Incorporate this file provided by your vendor into jmc Office, enabling the display of student photos via the Point of Sale portal, jmc mobile apps, and within the attendance and gradebook modules in jmc Teacher.

Select the appropriate building from the "Switch Building" drop-down list and head to the File > Administrator Options page to upload a student photo file from your vendor.

Step One: Click the “Import Student Photo Linking File” link in the "Student Photos:" box to access the two step process for uploading student photos.

Step Two: Click the "Select" button in the “Step 1:” box to access the student photo files from your computer.

Helpful Tip: Use student files in a compatible format .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif to successfully complete the import.

Step Three: Select the student photos you'd like to import into jmc and click the "Open" button to begin uploading them to your jmc database.

Step Four: Click the "Choose File" button in the "Step 2:" box to access the "Student Linking File" you received from your vendor.

Fun Fact: The "Student Linking File" can not exceed 2 MB or raw photos 172 x 228 to import data quickly.

Step Five: Select the "Student Linking File" you'd like to import and click the "Open" button to begin uploading it to your jmc database.

Step Six: Click the “Start Import” button to begin the photo-to-student matching process.

Helpful Tip: The page will display the ongoing progress of photo-to-student matching. To ensure uninterrupted matching, please remain on the page until the process is finalized.

Step Seven: Repeat these steps for each jmc building.

Fun Fact: Once you've successfully uploaded student photos to jmc Office, they will be accessible for viewing across the Point of Sale, jmc Teacher, and jmc mobile apps. Point of Sale and jmc Teacher users can head to the Preferences page to show or hide student photos at their discretion.
