As constant communicators with students, coaches and advisors play a big part in the communication picture. Which is why jmc has included the internal communication feature in the Coach/Advisor mobile app. Coaches and advisors can keep the office in the loop regarding student issues, concerns and comments. With coaches and advisors adding their insights, school officials will be able to see the entire picture when it comes to their students.

Log in to the Coach/Advisor mobile app and select your activity to begin using the communication feature.

Step One: Tap the "Roster" icon from the home screen to access a list of the students associated with the selected activity.

Step Two: Tap a student to access the communication feature.

Step Three: Tap the "Communication" icon to view prior communication records for the selected student.

Step Four: Tap the "+ Add" icon to add a communication entry for the student.

Step Five: Tap the Date/Time fields to adjust the date or time of the communication if they are different from the default (current) date and/or time.

Step Six: Enter a reason in the "Reason" field to define the purpose of the communication record.

Step Seven: Enter the action in the "Action" field if any measures were taken as a result of the communication.

Step Eight: Enter details about the communication in the "Detail" field to provide the office with context for the communication.

Step Nine: Tap the "Save" button to submit the communication to the office and to store the communication in the Coach/Advisor app for your records, or tap the "< Back" icon to cancel and return to the list of prior communication records for the student.

Fun Fact: Accepted communication entries are stored in the student's records in jmc Office for review.
