Communicating with the student athletes on your team and their families is critical when there are last minute changes to game or practice schedules. Use the Coach/Advisor mobile app to send text messages to the students on your activity roster and their contacts right from your mobile device. And the best part is you don't have to chase down any phone numbers - the app uses all the phone numbers for contacts and students already stored in your jmc database!

Log in to the Coach/Advisor mobile app and select your activity to begin sending text messages.

Step One: Tap the "Messaging" icon from the home screen to enter a message to be sent to your contacts.

Step Two: Tap the "Message" field to access your keyboard and begin entering your text message.

Step Three: Slide the "Text Message" toggle switch to green to send a text message (sms).

Step Four: Slide the toggle switch(es) below "Settings:" to green to perform the following functions:

  • Contacts: send the message to all contacts associated with the selected activity.

  • Primary Contacts Only: send the message to student primary contacts associated with the selected activity.

  • Students: send the message to all Students associated with the selected activity.

  • Schedule Time: schedule a later date and time for the message to be sent.

Step Five: Tap the "Verify" button to view the number of contacts that will receive the message.

Step Six: Tap the "Send" button to send the message to the selected contacts.

Helpful Tip: To send a message to an individual student/contact, tap the roster icon, tap a student's name, tap the dialog bubble icon and follow step three through six.
