Submitting WISEdata is essential for establishing your school's information with the Wisconsin DPI, and jmc's Start Year page guides you through the necessary tasks to pass your data to the state. Complete the tasks on each tab to successfully submit your school, student, graduation, and parent data to the WISEdata portal.

To sync your school's data with the Wisconsin DPI, head to Wisconsin > WISEdata > Start Year in jmc Office.

Step One: Click the "Prep" tab to access the checklist of items that are to be completed before the start of the school year.

Step Two: Place a checkmark in the appropriate checkboxes to indicate that you have completed the item.

Fun Fact: A "WISEdata Start Year Summary" page will alert you to records that need updating if you attempt to place a checkmark next to an incomplete item.

Helpful Tip: Click the "Print Summary" button to print a copy of the "WISEdata Start Year Details" that need to be completed or click the "Cancel Summary" button to return to the checklist.

Step Three: Click the first enabled button on the "Tables" tab to download the corresponding code table from the DPI and seamlessly update your jmc database for the start of the school year.

Step Four: Click the "Print Summary" button to print your download results and click the "Cancel Summary" button to return to the "Tables" tab and continue updating your jmc database for the start of the school year.

Step Five: Repeat step four and step five until each "Tables" record has been updated in your jmc database.

Step Six: Click the first enabled button on the "General" tab to begin uploading school and student data to the DPI.

Helpful Tip: To enable the buttons on the "General" tab, complete all of the items on the "Prep" tab.

Step Seven: Fix any errors displayed on the "Start Year Summary" report and repeat steps six and seven until all school and student data is successfully updated in WISEdata.

Step Eight: Repeat step six and step seven for each enabled button sequentially until all "General" school items are updated with the DPI.

Step Nine: Click the "Students" tab to view instructions for submitting student data to the DPI.

Step Ten: Click the first enabled button on the "Graduation Requirements" tab to update graduation information with the DPI.

Step Eleven: Fix errors displayed on the corresponding report and repeat step nine and step ten until the item is successfully updated in WISEdata.

Step Twelve: Click the first enabled button on the "Parents" tab to update parent information in WISEdata.

Step Thirteen: Fix errors displayed on the corresponding report and repeats steps twelve and thirteen until all parent updates have been successfully submitted to Wisedata.
