Overview
Managing programs on mobile is not as comprehensive as it is in the web app but there are a lot of fantastic features available to manage programs from your pocket! Let's dive in.
In the mobile app navigate to the Programs tab located at the bottom of the screen. This is the tab that houses all your programs, events and announcements. In this article we will be going over the program and event features.
Good to know: If you're interested in learning more about the announcements feature please read the article titled Using announcements to keep students informed.
Similar to the web experience we have built the mobile programs dashboard around a centralized calendar that gives you a monthly view of each class and event.
Good to know: Classes are colored light navy and events are colored green.
You can tap around the individual dates to get more information on the class or event specific to that date. The calendar is updated each day so will default to the present date allowing you to quickly see at a glance if you have a class or event today.
Your Active Programs and Event cards are displayed below the calendar and when you tap on them you get taken into a detailed page about the program and or event.
Good to know: Only Active Programs show up in this list. If you don't see a program and you believe it should be here, make sure that you made the program Active and or it's not a Completed or Future program. To learn more about the different states of programs view the Programs and Even States Terminology article
All the way at the bottom you have three options;
View Landing Page: This takes you to your community landing page.
View Program History: This takes you to a list of completed programs.
View Future Programs: This takes you to a list of all your future programs.
Program Detail Pages
When you tap on a program card you'll get directed to that cards program detail page. Within this page you'll get to do a lot of cool things.
First you'll see three tabs labelled Feed, Leaderboard, Schedule
Feed: This is a feed of all activities posted by you and or your students within this program. These activities could be training sessions, playing sessions, social actions, 9 Hole Events, and announcements.
Leaderboard: This is a leaderboard that is comprised of only students within this program. It's a great way to motivate your students to log activities. learn more about the gamification of Op 36 by reading the article titled Use the Op 36 Community Leaderboard to Gamify Your Program
Schedule: When you attach a schedule to your programs it will be visible here.
Above these three tabs you'll notice two buttons Mange Roster and Lesson Plan
Mange Roster: This is where you can add and remove your students as well as approve student registration.
Lesson Plans: This is where you can look at the lesson plan you created and attached to this specific program.
Good to know: If you don't see the Lesson Plan button then you don't have a lesson plan attached to this program. If you want to attach a lesson plan you'll need to use the Program Builder in the web app. read the article titled How to Build a Group Program
There are some more tools located in the top right corner menu as well. These include Edit Class, Edit Schedule, Mark Complete, Delete Class, Start Testing.
Edit Class: This allows you to edit some of what the web program builder allows. Remember it's not as extensive as the web builder so you won't have as much control. However, you can update some of the more important details right here on mobile.
Edit Schedule: The web app schedule builder is more extensive but you can edit, delete and add more single sessions to your programs schedule using this feature.
Mark Complete: This will be a legacy feature soon as programs will automatically be completed in the near future - however, currently - if you want to move the stage of your program to complete this is how you would do that.
Start Testing: The testing feature for marking skill objectives complete for single or multiple students is located here.
Events Detail Page
When you tap on an event card you'll get directed to that cards program detail page. Within this page you'll get to do a lot of cool things.
First you'll see three tabs labelled Upcoming, Completed, Announcements
Upcoming: This is where all upcoming events will be listed.
Completed: This is where all completed events will be listed. A Completed event is determined by the event date being in the past.
Announcements: This is where you can post an announcement specific to this event as well as where all announcements specific to this event series will be listed.
