Overview

Your program will only run as well as you communicate with your families.

Without consistent communication, students and families can quickly become confused and frustrated.

Students deserve to be updated each week about upcoming events — clear communication builds trust, reduces confusion, and improves the overall experience.

Before Your First Event

It’s important to educate families on what to expect before their first 9-hole event.

  • Use the 9-Hole Event Parent Guide (found in the Resource Center under “Program Resources” in the Operation 36 Web App).

  • This guide provides helpful information on:

    • Rules

    • Etiquette

    • Parent tips for supporting their junior golfers

Sending Event Details

  • We recommend sending pairings and start times 3–4 days in advance of the event.

  • Early communication allows time to adjust for last-minute changes if needed.
