Once you have created a property, either through an intake form or manually from your account, go to the individual property's page. From there, you can review the Property Settings, go over any of the Property Details, and much more.
For this article, we're going to focus on the left side of the individual property page with the Property Details and Property Settings.
Property Details Section and Property Settings
When looking at the left side panel, you will see a green button that shows the name of the field group you are currently looking at. If you click on this, you can change the details to another field group.
To the right of this will be a collapsable menu that allows you to hide the Property Details. There are a number of different options in the collapsable menu that can help you quickly jump to different parts of your transaction.
Collapse Panel - Click on this icon to collapse or expand the Property Details panel.
Panel Expander - This will expand the Property Details panel further to the right so you can see more of the details of the transaction.
Drawers - This opens the Contact Drawer and File Drawer.
Contact Drawer - You can access the contacts that are part of the transaction and quickly see their information, call, text, email, etc.
File Drawer - This is very similar to the Contact Drawer. It opens the documents that are part of the transaction. You can upload/download files, assign file roles, split documents, etc.
Color Picker - If you are using color coordination for your transactions, you can assign the property a color from here.
Property Edit Form - To quickly access the Field Editor, click on this and you will open the option to change fields in the different field groups/field sections for that transaction.
Add to Queue - Click this icon to add the property to the Property Queue. The queue allows you to track important properties that you want to keep top of mind.
Refresh - This will refresh all of the property details.
Edit a Field Value
If you need to quickly enter a value into one of your fields on the Property Details, click on the field to update it. You can also pick a background color for the field if you are color-coordinating your fields in the transaction.
Once you're done, click on the purple checkmark box to save your changes.
Alternatively, you can use the Property Edit Form that is found in the collapsable menu to easily see all of the fields in each field group/field section so you can change them all at once.
Property Settings
Property Settings is where you can find options and settings for the transaction. To get to these settings, click on the green drop-down button to the right of the main field group button that houses all of the field group choices.
Manage Property Fields - Choose the fields and sections you want to show. You can choose them manually or by applying a template. Don’t forget to click the Update button to save the changes.
Apply Property Template - Inside your transaction, you can now apply a Property Template to add or replace other templates in groups. Search for the available property templates and click the Apply button.
Defaults & Settings - These are for the transaction's defaults and settings which include the following:
Default:
Time Zone
Date Calculation Options
Texting Number
Send From Email
Email Signature
Details Tab
Communication Tab
DocuSign Profile (dependent on what plan you are on)
Document Sorting
Date Template
Property Date Sync
API Field Map Template
Search Fields (CTRL + G) - Using this allows you to quickly search for anything in the fields or field sections and update them.
Duplicate - You can clone or copy the transaction.
Delete - If you do not need the transaction, you can delete it from here. Once the property is deleted, it is gone and we do not have a way of retrieving it. You would have to recreate it.
Refresh Property - Use this to refresh the entire property so you can see all of the updates you did.
Refresh Details - If you just need to refresh your Property Details, use this option.
Show Tour - You can get a walkthrough of the software to learn its functions and how to best use it.
