Shopify App Integration
Set up your Shopify integration!
Set up your Shopify integration!
1. Head to:
Settings > Integrations > Shopify
You'll be prompted to install our Openstage Sync app on Shopify. Clicking the 'Install Shopify App' button will take you directly to the Shopify App Store.
You will need to login to Shopify if you aren't already logged in.
2. Once the app is installed in Shopify, click open and your artist roster will appear.
3. From the roster, select the artist you are connecting a Shopify store to.
4. Setup is complete! You can now choose to sync Historical Orders.
Fans that are pulled through to Openstage from Shopify are given the 'shopify-welcome' tag.
Import Historical Orders
Orders made before the Shopify app is connected can be synced to Openstage via Historical Sync.
Simply select 'Sync fans and orders' and our system will start pulling in orders.
β οΈ Please note: if you have manually imported any records previous to this import, the system will create duplicate transaction records.
You can search for these fans by filtering for the 'shopify-welcome' tag in your Fans list.
Have multiple Shopify stores for your artist?
No problem! Repeat this process per Shopify store until you have them all connected.
Only do your historical sync if you've NOT imported data from Shopify previously so that you are not doubling up on transaction data.
Disable the old Shopify Webhook
Prior to the current App Integration, Openstage utilised a webhook within Shopify to pull through fans and orders.
We recommend that any artists with the webhook should disable it and set up the new Shopify App Integration.
Remove the old webhook
Remove the old webhook
Within Shopify, head to:
Settings > Notifications > Webhooks > Orders
Here you'll find the two parts to our old webhook. Simply delete both parts and the webhook will be disabled!
