What is Set.Live?
Set.Live is a fan data capture tool designed for live events.
Artists display a unique URL or QR code at shows (on screens, posters, or merch tables) where fans can check in, join a guest list, or enter for perks. This process captures their contact info and opt-in consent, creating a direct artist-to-fan relationship.
The fan data you’ll see in Openstage
When a fan participates in a Set.Live campaign, Openstage will import:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Phone Number
City
State
Country
Email Consent (Y/N)
SMS Consent (Y/N)
Campaign Tag(s) - based on the Set.Live campaign, e.g. SET.Live @ Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) 11/3/2023
In addition, every SET.live participant receives the 'setlive-welcome' tag. And if the fan is new to the artist’s Openstage audience, a new fan record will be created and 'setlive' will be set as their acquisition channel.
Note: Artists can add custom questions in their Set.Live campaigns, but Set does not pass individual answers to Openstage (only the engagement/campaign they responded to).
Viewing a campaign tag in Openstage will show you all fans who participated.

Generate a SET.live API key
Copy the key and paste it in your SET.live configuration
In SET.live, you will be given the option to backfill all existing data or start from today
From there, data will update every 10 minutes
