QR codes have become incredibly popular in recent times as an effective data capture/marketing tool. They enable customers to simply scan them from a mobile phone camera which then directly links to a website, landing page, shop or restaurant menu to name a few.
Openstage is all about centralising your fan data, so with that in mind, a QR code generator is built in to the platform for you to capture data efficiently across your campaigns.
To generate your QR code, navigate to engage then QR codes.
Click Create QR Code
You will then be presented with the QR code generator. Here you can link to a page within Openstage (like landing page or fan page) or an external link.
Add your centre image if required and you can choose colours for the background and QR pattern. Black & white is most common and works best, but feel free to make it your own.
When you're happy, click preview and then you can download your QR to use in your campaigns.
TOP TIP: Make sure to test the flow from scanning your QR through to it's destination link - it's a good time to check everything is in working order, especially if the QR is to be printed or put up on event screens.
