Should I unplug my Orion when I am not using it?
No. We recommend leaving your Control Tower plugged in during normal use. That lets Orion keep its connection and run the system cycles it needs.
Unplug it only when you are moving or storing the system.
What if I am away for a few days?
Put your side of the bed into Away Mode.
Open the Orion app
Go to Device Settings
Set your side to Away
Use it any time you will be away for more than a day.
Does Away Mode affect my partner's side?
No. If someone else shares your Orion, putting your side into Away Mode leaves their side running exactly as normal.
Why use Away Mode instead of unplugging?
Away Mode stops your side running while keeping the system online, so it stays updated and ready for when you are back. It also stops sleep data being recorded against your account while you are gone.
How do I come back from Away Mode?
Turn Away off in the same place in Device Settings.
If your side does not come back, or the app asks you to set up as a new guest, contact Orion Support rather than accepting a new invite. We can restore your original profile.
