Integrations

How Edlio Accounting connects with Edlio Payments (formerly OSP -Online School Payments) and other systems.

Integrations is where Edlio Accounting connects with other systems your district uses. This area may include additional integrations as the product evolves.

Edlio Payments (OSP -Online School Payments)

Edlio Accounting is integrated with Edlio Payments (formerly known as OSP -Online School Payments). Edlio Payments transactions flow into Accounting automatically.

The relationship works as follows:

  • Edlio Accounting sits on top of Edlio Payments/OSP (or Edlio Payments sits on top of Accounting, depending on how you look at it)

  • They share the same dashboard environment

  • OSP payment data feeds into Accounting transactions

Because Edlio Payments/OSP is part of the same platform, this integration is native — there is no separate configuration needed in the Integrations section.

Third-party point-of-sale systems

Some districts use third-party point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Focus, at their schools. These systems can submit transaction data to Edlio Accounting.

How it works

  • The POS system collects funds at the school (e.g., cafeteria payments, event tickets)

  • The POS system sends an XML file to Edlio

  • Edlio processes and summarizes the XML

  • The data is posted as a cash deposit in Accounting

  • The deposit goes against the bank account (e.g., JP Morgan Chase)

  • The deposit is also allocated to the appropriate fund accounts, as labeled in the XML

Current integrations

Known third-party integrations include:

  • Focus — used by districts such as Broward and Miami-Dade

  • Munis

  • Infinite Campus

> Note: Additional integrations may be added in the future. The Integrations section in Settings serves as a placeholder for connecting new systems as they become available.
