Registration eligibility can be set up in a variety of methods, including gender, date of birth range, and even custom fields like grade, region, school, zip code, etc.
To set up your eligibility by birth year, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Season Structure for the season you want to work with
Expand the structure so you can see each age group in the structure
Edit the first age group in the structure
Select the appropriate gender, if applicable
Set the dates in the "Birthdate Range" fields
Save and repeat for each Age Group in the structure
Adding the Birthdate Range will auto-place players into their appropriate group upon registration
In the example below, we've edited the 2011 age group to add the birthdate range 01/01/2011 through 12/31/2011 in the Grouping Eligibility area. All registrants born within this range will automatically be placed in the 2011 grouping.
Note: This age group can also be named "U14" - depending on how your organization refers to each age group.
