The next step is to create complexes, fields, and permits. This is important because it allows the system to know which fields to assign teams to when a schedule is created. From ELEMENTS select “Field Complex Administration,” or, from Scheduling Administration select, “Field Complex Admin.” Here you can decide if you want any field attributes to be seen such as Field Dimensions, Field Surface Type, and Field Lighting Systems.
To add a new complex:
Select, Add a New Complex (in the green box)
Type in the name of the Complex making sure to also add an address
Type in the name of a field at this complex. This box is at the bottom called, Field at Complex.
Select Save
To add more fields to this complex, click Add New Fields to this Complex (top left corner)
Type in the new field names and press Save.
Repeat steps 5-6 until all fields have been added to complex
Maintaining Field Permits
Select, “Maintain Field Permits” (in light blue box)
To add a new field permit, select, “Add a New PERMIT GROUP” (green box in top left-hand corner).
Type in the name of the permit group. Usually it is the name of the tournament
From the drop-down menu you will find “Optionally include a PERMIT for this field” select the field you would like to use.
Fill in the other important information: days the permit can be used (what days teams can play on that field), max # of games to be played, when the permit begins and ends (these are actual dates), what time a game can start and end (the end time is when the last game must be finished), and finally what age groups and genders can play on this field.
Click SAVE at the bottom.
To add additional fields to an existing permit group, select the permit group you would like to use.
Choose, “Add a New PERMIT to this Group” found in the upper left-hand corner in a green box.
From the drop-down menu select the field you would like to use. Please do not skip this step.
Fill in the other important information: days the permit can be used (what days teams can play on that field), max # of games to be played, when the permit begins and ends (these are actual dates), what time a game can start and end (the end time is when the last game must be finished), and finally what age groups and genders can play on this field.
Click SAVE at the bottom.
Continue this process until all the fields you would like to use have permits added.
When you have added all the complexes, fields, and permits, please select “Scheduling Administration” in the upper-right hand corner.
