Separate game time by minutes rather than separation slots

Updated over 3 months ago

Answer

For tournaments where a team may play more than one game per day, this item represents how many minutes a team needs to rest before the next game starts. In this case, you can tell the system the exact number of minutes a team needs to rest. If games are 75 minutes long, but you want them to rest two hours in between games enter 195 in the Separ. Min box. The 195 represents the 75 minute game plus 120 minutes for rest. If you do not include the minutes for the game it will count two hours from when the game starts. Regardless of how long the game lasts, each team will play their next game after the number of minutes passes. In this example they will play one game and rest 2 hours before their next game starts.

You have the option to set the Separation Minutes for the entire season in the Season Structure Wizard. This is useful if all your games for all your divisions are the same length. If they are not, you will want to set it by division on the Scheduling Administration Page.

You cannot use this item with the Separation Slots. Only one can be used. If both Separation Slots and Separation Minutes both have information listed, the information in SEPAR MINS takes priority.
