Badges: How to award a Badge
Updated over a week ago

An Assessment can be set up to award a Badge to your visitors in a matter of moments - you just need to ensure you have added an Assessment module to your document, along with a ‘Result’.

💡 Read more about how to set up an Assessment to test or quiz your visitors.

Example
Your Health & Safety training pack contains a quiz with a ‘Pass’ and ‘Fail’ result. The visitor will be awarded a H&S Badge if they pass the quiz and achieve the 'Pass' result.

How to award a Badge

  • Navigate to a Document.

  • Select ‘Interactivity’ for the version of the Document.

  • Click on the Assessment module in your design, followed by the edit option from the fly-out menu.

  • Select the ‘Results’ tab.

  • Select the Badge that you wish to award from the ‘Award Badge’ drop-down list.

  • Select the ‘Result Content’ option and enter a message that will display when your reader is awarded the Badge.

When awarding a Badge, the Document containing the Assessment must use a Reader Login or SSO security rule.

Tokens

Tokens can be added into the ‘Result Content’. These are placeholders that auto-populate with the name or image of the Badge that has been awarded.

Badge Name

Add the name of the Badge using the [BADGE_NAME] token.

Badge Image/Size

Include an image of the Badge using the Badge Image token. Five sizes are available, so you can choose which it best for you!

  • [BADGE_IMAGE_100]

  • [BADGE_IMAGE_200]

  • [BADGE_IMAGE_300]

  • [BADGE_IMAGE_400]

  • [BADGE_IMAGE_500]

Note: sizes are in pixels, for example 400 pixels.

Example

Sally has set up a Health & Safety quiz that awards a Badge if the visitor gets 2 or more answers correct. She has added [BADGE_NAME] and [BADGE_IMAGE_200] into the ‘Result Content’ field, which will display the name of the Badge along with a 200px size image of the Badge.
