Enable WiFi calling

WiFi Calling lets you call over WiFi when cellular signal is weak.

Your WiFi Calling feature is automatically activated as soon as you successfully activate your line.

Now that Wi-Fi Calling is activated on your account, the final step is to turn it on from your device. Just follow the instructions below for your phone:


For iPhone

  1. Open Settings: From your Home screen, tap the Settings app icon.

  2. Tap Cellular: Scroll down and select Cellular from the options.

  3. Select Wi-Fi Calling: In the Cellular screen, find and tap on WiFi Calling.

  4. Turn on the toggle: Tap the toggle switch to turn WiFi Calling on.

  5. Confirm: A prompt may appear, asking you to enable Wi-Fi Calling. Tap Enable or Enable Wi-Fi Calling to activate the feature.

For Android

Menus may vary slightly by device manufacturer and Android version.

  1. Open Settings: Find and tap the Settings icon on your device.

  2. Navigate to Wi-Fi Calling: Look for a path like:

    • Settings: > Connections > WiFi Calling.

    • Settings: > Network & Internet > Calls > WiFi Calling.

    • Settings: > Wireless & Networks > WiFi Calling.

    • If you don't see it, use the search bar at the top of your Settings app and search for "WiFi Calling".

  3. Enable the Feature: Tap the WiFi Calling option to find the toggle switch and turn it on.


If You’ve Changed Your Address, Here’s How to Update Your Service and E911 Address in Your Portal:

  1. Log in to your portal.

  2. On the landing page, select the line for which you want to activate WiFi Calling.

  3. Click on "view details", then "manage".

  4. Under "Service address", select "Update".

  5. Update your service address.

  6. Click Update to save the changes. Then, make sure to reboot your phone before trying the service to ensure the feature works properly.

That’s it! WiFi Calling should now be enabled on your device.
