Tracking Submittal Status per Line Item

You can track the review status of each product in your submittal package directly from the Pricing and Lead Time and Submittal & O&M tabs.

You can track the review status of each product in your submittal package directly from the Pricing and Lead Time and Submittal & O&M tabs. The Submittal Status column gives your team a quick, at-a-glance view of where each line item stands in the approval process — without needing to leave Parspec

Where to find it

The Submittal Status column appears in both:

  • The Pricing & Lead Time tab (within Quoting)

  • The Submittal & O&M tab

Look for the column header labeled Submittal Status in the product grid.

Tip: Don’t see it? Add it via the ‘manage column headers’ icon


Setting a status

  1. Locate the line item you want to update.

  2. Click the cell in the Submittal Status column for that row.

  3. Select a status from the dropdown:

  4. The status saves automatically — no need to click a save button.

Note: The statuses available in the dropdown reflect your company's configuration. If you don't see the options you need, ask your admin to update your Workflow Configuration. See Customizing Submittal Statuses (Admin).


Clearing a status

To remove a status from a line item, click the cell and select the blank/dash option at the top of the dropdown.


Tips

  • Submittal status is tracked per line item, so different products in the same project can have different statuses.

  • Status changes are visible to all users with access to the project.

  • Use the Submittal Status column alongside the submittal package itself to stay aligned with your team during the review and approval cycle.
