The QR code system allows a secure and efficient way to check in and out of a customer's luggage. However, if by any chance QR doesn't work or your phone doesn't support QR code scanning, you can check in and check out a customer's luggage through their reservation PIN. All customer reservations have a QR code and a PIN.
To check-in or out a customer using PIN, follow these steps to get started:
Find the booking PIN used to check in or check out a reservation. Note: You will find it under the QR code located in the customer's reservation details or confirmation email.
Once you locate the PIN, find the reservation in your Bounce Partner Portal.
Tap on the reservation; and then, hit "Check-in manually".
Enter PIN code. Note: Ask the customer to share the PIN code.
Hit "Verify reservation".
That's it! The customer will be immediately checked in upon entering the PIN.
