When a customer is dropping off their bag at your Bounce Partner Store, follow these straightforward steps to efficiently manage the process:
Confirm Bag Details: Begin by verifying the number of bags the customer wants to store and review their reservation details.
Scan QR Code or Enter PIN: Use the Bounce app to scan the customer's QR code or manually enter the provided PIN.
Complete the Process: Once scanned or entered, the customer's bag is officially checked in or checked out, depending on the action needed.
Note: Please be aware that if you accidentally check in a customer's luggage, you can reverse this action within 10 seconds of making the mistake.
What information should I verify before proceeding with the customer check-in process?
When customers arrive at your store to drop off their bags, it's important to follow these key steps to ensure a smooth and efficient process:
Verify Reservation Details: Ask the customer for their reservation details, which can typically be found in the Bounce app, website, or in their confirmation email. This step ensures that you have the necessary information to proceed with the check-in process.
Confirm Store Location: Verify that the customer is at the correct Bounce Partner Store for their reservation. This helps prevent any confusion or errors during the check-in process.
Check Bag Quantity: Double-check with the customer to ensure they have booked the correct number of bags for storage. This step ensures that you have accurate information about the items being checked in.
If all the information is complete, proceed to scan the customer's reservation code.
How to scan a customer's QR code?
Here's a simple step-by-step process for scanning a customer's QR code to complete the check-in procedure:
Start by logging in to your Bounce Partner Portal using your credentials.
On the Reservation page, locate and tap the Check-in/Check-out button located at the bottom of the screen.
Scan the QR code provided by the customer. Once scanned, the customer will be checked in automatically.
Attach Bounce Tags to the bags and store them securely in the designated area of your store.
Note: Once the check-in is confirmed by scanning the QR code, please inform the customer that they can no longer modify the number of booked bags or cancel the service.
How to assist a customer during the checkout process?
Just like the check-in process, assisting a customer during checkout is straightforward. Here's what you need to do:
Confirm Reservation Details: When a customer arrives at the store, ask for their reservation details. This information can be found in the Bounce app, website, or in the customer's confirmation email. Additionally, verify the reservation's check-out date to ensure timely processing.
Scan the Customer's QR Code: Once the reservation details are confirmed, scan the customer's QR code using the Bounce app. This action will initiate the checkout process, and the customer will be checked out immediately.
Ensure Bag Pickup: Before finalizing the checkout, make sure that the customer has picked up their bags from your store. This step helps avoid any issues or misunderstandings regarding the luggage.
The customer will be prompted to rate your store and your service. Remember to ask them to give you a nice rating!
