The Search page is where agents do their most important work. From a single, powerful view, you can find listings, save searches, share results, and create reports with speed and precision.

Using Search in Perchwell

Search is built to streamline your daily workflow and keep everything moving. From this page, you can:

  • Creating and Saving Listings

  • Filtering Listings

  • Customizing the Map and Listing Views

  • Exporting Listings

  • Analytics


Creating and Saving Listings

Create a New Search

  • Begin each search by clicking the Create New Search button

    • Assign a Name to the Search "e.g. Evelyn's East Side Apartments"

    • Click Save

    • Review the saved search drop down to confirm you're in Evelyn's East Side Apartments Search.

Saved Search Dropdown

  • The saved search drop-down menu allows you to view all your saved searches at a quick glance. This feature helps you keep track of your search history and quickly access previously saved search parameters. You can also set alerts and templates from this page.

Save Changes/ Saved

  • Click Save Changes to apply new filters or customizations to an existing search.

  • You can also click Save Changes to create a new search if you started your search with filters and not clicking the Create New Search button.

  • Once a search has been updated, the Save Changes button will updated to Saved.

Universal Search

  • You will see the universal search bar in the top right of every page. This feature allows you to enter an address and be directed straight to the listing or property page. It's a quick and efficient way to access specific listings or properties.


Filtering Listings

There are multiple ways to add filters to your search to find the listings you are looking for.

Using the Filters Button

  • Click the Filters button to access quick frequently used filters on like Location, Bedroom, and Bathroom.

  • Click the + icon to access the full filter list. Clicking on any options available will assign the filter as a filter column to your search page.

Using the Filter Columns

  • Filter columns are interactive columns that allow you to adjust your search directly on the search page.

  • Click the drop down arrow to adjust the parameters of the filter

  • Drag and drop your columns into your desired order

  • Click the X next to remove any unwanted columns.

Using the Filters Bubbles

  • Bubble tiles for active filters for any search can be located at the top of the search page.

  • Active filters will be highlighted in green in the filters column on the search page or your Filters tab.


Customizing the Map and List Views

Listings and Map views on the Search page can be customized according to your preference.

  • For listings you have the options of a Grid, Compact List, or Expanded List view.

  • For maps you can adjust it to ยพ, ยฝ, or a ยผ view. If you need more screen space, the map can be hidden by selecting the << icon to hide.


Exporting Listings

  • Click Export to easily export listing data to CSV.

  • Create templates for different scenarios or use the Master copy provided by your MLS

Analytics

For a data-oriented view of the listings, you can use the Analytics page. It allows you to dive into Market Share, Distribution, Location, and Trend data. The data can be exported as a CSV or PDF or emailed to a client in your contacts.
