Steps to Adding a New Contact

  1. Navigate to Contacts

    1. From the main navigation menu, select Contacts to open your contact list.

  2. Click “Add Contact”

    1. Tap the Add Contact icon to open the new contact form.

  3. Enter Required Details

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email address

      These fields are required to create a new contact.

  4. Save the Contact

    Click the Add Contact button to complete the initial creation. You’ll be redirected to the contact’s profile page.

  5. Add Additional Information (Optional)

    1. From the contact’s profile, you can include extra details such as:

      1. Phone number

      2. Company

      3. Title

      4. Notes

      5. Group assignment

  6. Assign the Contact to a Group

    From the Contact Details page, you can assign the contact to an existing group or create a new one to help organize your outreach.

  7. Set Collaboration Permissions

    Decide if you’d like to invite the contact to collaborate within Perchwell. If so, you’ll have the option to send a personalized invitation message.

  • Before adding a contact, check your list to avoid duplicates.

  • Grouping contacts can help you streamline follow-ups, messages, and saved search alerts.


Additional Contact Details

You can also enrich your contact’s details by adding:

  • Home Address

  • Social Media Links

  • Financial Information (mortgage pre-approval)

  • Business Details

  • Notes

These details can be address from the contact’s profile page and help provide a more complete view of your client’s needs and preferences.


Things to Know

  • Welcome Message: Consider sending a quick introductory message after adding a new contact to begin your engagement.

  • Missing Required Info: You won’t be able to save the contact without the required fields (first name, last name, and email).
