Updated over a week ago

For new mamas. Childbirth is an experience that will change your life and body forever. Shorten the road to postnatal recovery with our training program designed to help you heal and regain your pelvic strength.

Post-pregnancy is our kegel exercise program designed with mothers healing from pregnancy and childbirth in mind.

Rehabilitate your pelvic floor, prevent pelvic disorders and avoid the challenges they create with post-pregnancy.

You need the Post-pregnancy program if:

You are ready to begin healing from the life-changing experiences of pregnancy and childbirth. Both pregnancy and delivery can cause pelvic floor trauma.

When left untreated, this trauma can develop into pelvic disorders like incontinence and prolapse, in addition to impacting sexual wellness, confidence, and self-esteem.

Post-pregnancy is the program for you whether you’ve delivered naturally, had a C-section, an assisted birth, or are currently breastfeeding.

  • C-section: post-pregnancy can help strengthen the pelvic floor after being stretched and weakened during pregnancy.

  • Assisted birth (forceps or vacuum) and episiotomy: post-pregnancy can help minimize the long-term effects of pelvic floor trauma during delivery.

  • Breastfeeding is perfectly safe and compatible with pelvic floor training.

We recommend consulting with a specialist before doing kegel exercises with a biofeedback device and waiting six weeks after delivery before starting pelvic floor training.

What can you expect?

Experience a faster post-pregnancy, prevent pelvic disorders, and gain confidence in your postpartum body.

The Post-pregancy program helps you heal from the trauma of childbirth and reduce the risk of developing pelvic floor disorders. With a healthier and stronger pelvic floor, you can get back to the activities you love with the confidence you deserve, within weeks.

How does it work?

During pregnancy, your pelvic floor stretches to accommodate and support your growing child. It’s weakened even more during delivery. Our post-pregnancy program rehabilitates your pelvic floor on all dimensions to restore normal function and prevent common pelvic floor disorders.

Main patterns used

Key dimensions

The Perifit Care analyzes five key dimensions of each kegel exercise.

  • Strength: the contraction is strong enough to ensure continence and stop bladder leaks

  • Control: the contraction is well-timed and occurs as fast as needed

  • Endurance: the contraction is held for a few seconds to calm urge and promote pelvic support

  • Relaxation: the contraction ensures a wide range of motion and flexible muscles

  • Kegel quality: the contraction is training your pelvic floor muscles and not increasing abdominal pressure
