Prolapse program
Updated over a week ago

For those who are experiencing a grade 1 or 2 prolapse of any of the pelvic organs (bladder, bowel, uterus, vagina well, rectum).

Whether you are experiencing it post-pregnancy or at any stage of your life, prolapse should not be taboo. Rarely talked about, it's experienced by many.

Our training program is designed to stabilize and improve mild to moderate prolapse symptoms. The goal here is to prevent the organs from slipping down further and avoid surgery.

You need the Prolapse program if:

Prolapse is the program for you if there’s a heavy feeling in your lower abdomen or vagina. You can’t say for sure, but it almost feels like your insides are falling out. Intercourse is painful and you may be diagnosed with early-stage prolapse. When you need more pelvic support, Prolapse is the program for you.

When left untreated, this trauma can impact sexual wellness, confidence, and self-esteem.

We recommend consulting with a specialist before starting to use Perifit Care as prolapse grades can vary and it will not always be the best solution for you.

What can you expect?

A newfound comfort and confidence in your body. This program gives you your freedom back. With better pelvic support, you can plan your days without worry and feel more comfortable in your skin.

How does it work?

Prolapse, is when internal organs, like the uterus, actually slip out of place and down into the vagina. Often pushing or bulging outwards.

Think of the pelvic floor as a hammock that sits under your pelvic organs in the pelvic cavity. Pelvic floor exercises, like Kegels, work to offer pelvic support through pelvic muscle contractions. When healthy, the pelvic floor is able to support your organs better.

Main patterns used

Key dimensions

The Perifit Care analyzes five key dimensions of each kegel exercise.

  • Strength: the contraction is strong enough to ensure continence and stop bladder leaks

  • Control: the contraction is well-timed and occurs as fast as needed

  • Endurance: the contraction is held for a few seconds to calm urge and promote pelvic support

  • Relaxation: the contraction ensures a wide range of motion and flexible muscles

  • Kegel quality: the contraction is training your pelvic floor muscles and not increasing abdominal pressure
