Perifit Care is a manometric probe. Manometric probes measure the pressure resulting from muscle contractions.

Measuring a baseline tone with a manometric probe is quite complicated because of the relative size of the user anatomy and the probe.

A narrow hypotonic vagina could exert more pressure on the Perifit Care than a wide hypertonic vagina. However, the latter has a higher baseline tone than the former.

In other words, a manometric probe can't distinguish between the pelvic floor tone and the stretching level of the vagina.

However, manometric probes excel at measuring a difference of pressure between the relaxed and contracted states. The higher this difference, the better the baseline tone and the overall pelvic health.
