Personal settings

Update your profile details, display preferences, and account information.

Overview

Personal settings let you manage your profile information, set your preferred language, timezone, date format, and currency. You can also upload a profile picture and delete your account if needed.


How to access personal settings

  1. Navigate to Settings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the Personal Settings tab at the top.

You can also access personal settings by clicking your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.


Profile picture

Click anywhere in the profile circle to upload an image. Your profile picture is displayed in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  • To remove the image, click Remove Image

  • To change the image, hover over it and click the pencil icon


Profile details

The following fields are displayed in an editable view:

  • First name and Last name

  • Company name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Country

  • Password

Make your changes and click Save.


Display preferences

Language

Choose your preferred display language. This sets the language for the entire Perkstar interface.

Timezone

Set your local timezone. This ensures all timestamps β€” including logs, campaigns, and notifications β€” match your local time.

Date format

Choose between European (day/month/year) and US (month/day/year) format. This setting applies across your entire account, including the dashboard, reports, transactions, customer records, and card issuing forms.

Currency

Set the currency in which amounts, points, and reports are displayed inside your account.


Deleting your account

If you no longer wish to use Perkstar, you can delete your account from this section.

  1. Scroll down to the Delete User section.

  2. Select a reason for leaving by ticking one of the three options provided, or enter your own reason in the Other text box.

  3. Enter your account password in the Password field for confirmation.

  4. Click Delete.

Important: Account deletion is permanent. All your data β€” including cards, customers, transaction history, and settings β€” will be permanently removed and cannot be restored.


FAQs

Can I change my email address?

Yes. Update the email field in your profile details and click Save.

Does changing the date format affect my customers' cards?

Yes. The date format setting applies across your entire account, including how dates appear on card issuing forms and customer-facing elements.

Where does my profile picture appear?

Your profile picture is displayed in the top-right corner of the Perkstar dashboard.

Can I recover my account after deleting it?

No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Make sure you're certain before proceeding.
