What are “Generated Leads”?

Learn what the new “Generated Leads” metric means and how it impacts your plan.

In our new plans, you’ll come across the metric “Generated Leads”. But what exactly does that mean, and why is it relevant to you?

When is a Generated Lead?

A lead (contact record) is generated when someone submits their email address and/or phone number in your funnel.

If you add a contact to your funnel manually, via API, or Zapier, it does not count as a Generated Lead.

How many Generated Leads are included per plan and month

Depending on your plan, a certain number of leads is already included:

If you need more Generated Leads than your plan includes

If you need additional Generated Leads, you can:

Upgrade to a higher plan – with more generated leads, funnels, and features


Add extra Leads as an add-on upfront – flexible and tailored to your needs

It is always cheaper to add Generated Leads to your plan in advance. You can do it in the plan configurator within your account.

What happens if you miss adding the Generated Leads in advance

If you exceed the number of Generated Leads included in your plan, additional leads will be billed as overusage.

We use overusage charges instead of hard limits, so you never lose valuable leads. Your funnels continue running smoothly, even if you grow faster than expected.

  • Overusage is billed at a flat rate of 0.25 € per overused lead, independent of your plan or billing cycle.

  • You always pay per single overused lead, giving you precise usage-based billing so you only pay exactly what you used.

You’ll receive one invoice at the end of each billing cycle regarding the overusage.
If you are on a yearly plan, the overusage invoice is also issued monthly.

Recommendation: If you get close to your Generated Leads limit, consider upgrading your plan or adding more leads to avoid overcharges and save costs.
