Jobs & Maintenance plans, assigns and records farm work while keeping machinery, parts, checks and repair history together.

Jobs are To do or Done. Choosing Done while editing opens the completion details so readings, parts, costs and notes can be reviewed before the job is completed. On an open job, use Edit, Mark complete or Delete.

Delete removes an open job from the work queue but keeps it recoverable. Find it under Tasks → Past → filter Deleted, then choose Restore to return it to To do. Completed work cannot be deleted; reopen it when a correction is required.

Choose New work → Record completed work when work has already happened. Add the completion date, notes, costs, readings or photos that belong with the record.

Use Overview for open jobs, work due today, overdue work and service alerts. My work shows work assigned to you. Use Tasks to filter the broader job list.

Assign work only to people who have joined the farm. Invited people do not appear until they accept. If saving an assignment reports a problem, check the job list before trying again: the job may already have saved, and a second save can create a duplicate.

A machinery service or repair must be linked to a machine. Record the technician, expected time and cost, checklist items, parts, fluids and meter readings.

Required parts are deducted when the work is completed. Review them first because the completed maintenance record becomes the history of what was done.

Parts and fluids are the same list as Inventory. In Inventory → Products, use the Machine filter beside Location to see only parts that fit a machine (or Not linked to a machine), and Print list for a workshop checklist. Tick Compatible machines on the part so one part number can fit several machines. Open a machine's Parts tab for what fits that machine; stock on hand and printing live on the Inventory Products list.

The workspace includes Overview, My work, Tasks, Machines, Tools, Parts and Checks. Tools contains assets saved as Tool or Pump, while Machines keeps tractors, sprayers, headers, seeders, spreaders, implements, trucks, utes and trailers. Select Add tool to create a tool without changing its type afterwards. Available actions depend on the user's Phase role and farm permissions.

Open Machines → Service reminders to see every service interval on the farm, most urgent first. Use Edit, Log service or Plan the service from a reminder row. When creating or editing a reminder, choose the machine, service name and whether it is due by meter, calendar or both. Check the live next-due calculation before saving. Delete reminder removes an interval that is no longer needed.

The Fleet view has filters such as Service due, Due soon, No reminder and Open problems. Open a machine for Servicing, Work, Checks, Parts, Details and Documents. Update its meter in the unit shown for that machine—hours or kilometres—so reminders remain accurate.

Open a machine or tool → Edit to record purchase price, supplier, warranty end date and warranty terms. The fleet can be filtered by Under warranty, and the asset card shows when the warranty is nearing its end. If offered, create a reminder for 30 days before expiry.

Use the asset's Documents tab to attach a receipt, warranty card or operator manual as a photo or PDF. These files also appear under More → Documents.

When planning work, open Location & recurrence and choose daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or a custom interval in days.

Phase creates the next occurrence when the current job is marked Done. It does not create every future occurrence in advance. If work is late, the schedule advances to the next suitable due date after completion.

For machinery service, use a calendar-based or meter-based service reminder from the machine instead of the standard job recurrence control.

Marking the same job done again does not duplicate its original product use. If you add a missing product to a finished job and complete it again, Phase records only the new product on the existing completion. Deleting an open job or crop plan removes its linked product use, while population-style seed rates that cannot be reconciled with Inventory units are left out of stock deduction and explained on the completion screen.
