How to adjust the size of a template in the Elements app
Customize your Elements app templates using our built-in page dimensions and custom settings. Create tombstones, full-page documents, banners and more infusing your brand and design standards with real-time data stored across your tables.
Admin or Elements designer permissions are required to adjust template size.
1. | Open the Elements app from the apps side panel (or apps home screen if you’re a non-admin user) |
2. | Select the cog to view the Manage Templates window |
3. | Open an existing template or create a new one |
4. | On the far right-hand side of the screen, select Page |
5. | From the Dimensions drop-down, select one of the pre-built canvas sizes or select custom to assign unique width and height parameters |
6. | If custom, enter any whole number within the range of 50 to 1200 pixels per inch (PPI)  |
7. | If you would like to adjust the layout appearance from portrait to landscape, click the arrows to swap the position of the current width and height dimensions |
8. | Click Set when you're finished and the canvas size will adjust to your assigned dimensions |

Templates will scale automatically when exported based on the page layout and dimensions applied within the export view.
Pro tip: If exporting a full-page design asset, it’s important to ensure the page dimensions assigned to the template align to the page size selected on the export screen. The following table displays the built-in page sizes available on the export preview screen and the corresponding page dimensions from the template designer. Confirm all page margins and padding are set to zero to ensure the full page design asset exports as expected.

Please note: The dimensions of your elements will change depending on formatting in the export preview screen ex. page margins and padding.
