If your club isn't appearing in search results, a few things could be going on.
Check these first
You need at least 2 characters. Search won't trigger on a single letter.
Try a different word. Search matches against club name, location, and sport, so try searching by town or sport if the club name isn't working.
The club may be deactivated. Clubs that have been deactivated or suspended don't appear in search at all.
How results are sorted
If your club exists but isn't near the top, results are ordered as: exact matches first, then nearby clubs, then clubs with the most members, then your recent searches, then everything else alphabetically. A very small or new club might just be further down the list.
Still can't find it?
Ask your club admin for their club code instead. See "Where Do I Find My Club Code?"
If the club genuinely isn't on PLAI yet, you can create it instead of joining.
FAQ
Why did my search return nothing at all?
You'll see a "No clubs found" message with a suggestion to try different keywords or create a new club. This usually means the spelling doesn't match anything in PLAI's database yet.
