PLAI's Groups feature has three levels of access. Knowing the difference helps you decide who to promote to Group Admin, and what to expect once they are one.
Club admin (sometimes called Full Admin): full access across every Section and Group in your club.
Group Admin: elevated access, but scoped only to the specific Group(s) they're assigned to.
Group Member: no management access at all, just membership in the Group itself.

Important Notes:
A Group Admin's view of the Groups screen only ever shows the Sections and Groups they're an admin of. They can't browse or discover the rest of your club's structure.
Being a Group Admin never grants access beyond the specific Group(s) they're assigned to, even for actions (like creating an Event) that would otherwise be available to a club admin club-wide.
FAQ
Does a Group Admin need to be a member of the Group they manage?
No. Group Admin access and Group membership are separate, someone can be a Group Admin without being a member, and vice versa.
If I move a Group between Sections, does the Group Admin lose access?
No. Group Admin and member associations stay intact when a Group is moved, whether that's between Sections or to standalone.
Can a Group Admin see other Groups while creating an Event or News article?
No. When assigning content like Events, News, Shop items, or Forms, a Group Admin only ever sees the Group(s) they're an admin of.
