Understanding a Member's Membership Status and History

How to view a member's current memberships and their full membership history from their profile, so you understand their standing with the club.

A member's profile keeps their current memberships and their past ones in two separate places.

Viewing current memberships

From a member's profile, tap the Membership tab. Every current or active membership they hold is shown as a card with its status. Tap a card to expand it and reveal:

  • Start and end dates

  • Payment details (amount, frequency, next payment date if recurring)

  • A payment history summary

  • A Cancel Membership option

Only one card expands at a time. If the member has no memberships, the tab shows "This member has no active memberships."

Note: A member's Membership status can show Active even while their overall Profile status shows Overdue, this happens when their membership payments are current but they owe money elsewhere (events, shop, forms). A Guardian's profile only shows memberships held in the Guardian's own name; a child's memberships appear only on the child's own profile.

Viewing past memberships

Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) on the member's profile and select View Past Memberships. This opens a read-only screen listing every membership that's Expired, Cancelled, or otherwise ended, each showing its name, status, start date, and end date, sorted with the most recently ended first.

No actions, like cancel or refund, are available from this screen. If the member has no past memberships, you'll see "This member has no past memberships."

FAQ

Why would a membership show no end date in the past memberships list?

That's a data anomaly. It'll display as "—" or "Unknown" rather than breaking the screen.

Can I reactivate a past membership from this screen?

No, this view is purely historical. Reactivating requires creating a new membership for the member.
