How to Send a Payment Request

Request a one-off payment from one or more members by email, useful for tournament fees, custom charges, or anything that doesn't need a recurring plan.

Need to collect money for something specific, like a tournament entry fee, from some or all of your members? A payment request sends a direct payment link by email without setting up a membership or subscription.

How to send a payment request

  1. On the Treasury screen, tap Request Payment.

  2. Tap Who needs to pay? to open a searchable member list, and select as many members as you need.

  3. Enter a Description, for example "Tournament Entry Fee." This is shown to members so they know what they're paying for.

  4. Enter the Amount. This applies the same to every member you selected.

  5. Tap the submit button, which updates to show your selection, for example "Request Payment – 10 Members."

  6. Each selected member receives their own individual email with a direct payment link.

Good to know

  • The button label always reflects how many members are currently selected. Removing a member updates the count.

  • The submit button stays disabled until you've selected at least one member and filled in both the description and amount.

  • There's no cap on how many members you can select in one request.

  • Each member's request is tracked separately in the Payments list, so you can follow up on individuals if needed.

  • Sending duplicate requests to the same member isn't blocked automatically. Both will be tracked independently, so it's worth checking before you send.

Note: If a member has no email address on file, the request can't reach them, and you'll be told which member was skipped.

FAQ

Can I send different amounts to different members in the same request?

No. The amount you enter applies equally to everyone you've selected. If members need different amounts, send separate requests.
