Sometimes you only need to chase one member rather than everyone with an outstanding balance. You can send a reminder straight from that member's payment record.
How to send a reminder to one member
Open the payment record for the member you want to remind. You can do this from the Payments tab or from their Membership detail screen, the button works the same either way.
Tap Nudge or Send Reminder.
A confirmation modal opens showing:
The member's first name in the headline, for example "Send reminder to James?"
A line confirming they'll receive a push notification and email
The amount, what it's for, and when they were last reminded (or "Never" if this is the first time)
Tap Send Reminder to confirm, or Cancel to back out.
Once sent, you'll see a toast confirming the reminder went out, and it's logged in the payment's Activity Timeline.
Reminding someone again within 24 hours
If you already reminded this member less than 24 hours ago, the modal changes to warn you:
Important: The headline changes to "Send another reminder?" with an amber callout showing when they were last reminded. The button also changes from "Send Reminder" to "Send Anyway."
This is just a soft warning, not a hard block. You can still send it if you think it's needed.
Good to know
The Nudge or Send Reminder option only appears on payments that are Unpaid, Overdue, or Failed. It won't show on Paid, Refunded, or Waived payments.
Every reminder sends both a push notification and an email.
If the member has no email address on file, the push notification still goes out, and you'll be told that the email couldn't be sent.
The "Last Reminded" time shown is always from the most recent reminder, not the original request.
FAQ
What if the member pays right after I open the confirmation modal?
The system checks the payment's status again when you confirm. If it's already been settled, you'll see a message that the payment has already been settled and the screen will refresh.
