How to Restore a Deleted or Archived Trip

Accidentally deleted a trip? Here is what you need to know about recovering trips in PlanitEasy.


Archived Trips

If you archived a trip, you can restore it:

  1. Go to your Trips page

  2. Look for the tab that shows Archived trips

  3. Find the trip and select 'restore' to change its status back to active

Archived trips preserve all data β€” reservations, invoices, and traveler information remain intact.


Deleted Trips

If a trip was deleted, it cannot be restored by the user. However, our team may be able to help:

  • Contact PlanitEasy support as soon as possible

  • Provide the trip name or Trip ID if you have it

  • Let us know when it was deleted

The sooner you reach out, the better the chances of recovery.


Tip: Archive Instead of Delete

If you no longer need a trip but want to keep the records, use Archive instead of Delete. Archived trips are hidden from your active list but can always be restored. Deleted trips are gone.


Can Clients Still Access an Archived Trip?

If travelers were previously shared the itinerary through the client app, archiving the trip may still allow them to view it. If you want to remove client access completely, remove the travelers from the trip before archiving.
